Contest Brief

I'm in need of a talented illustrator to create both realistic and cartoon style illustrations for the interior pages of my upcoming book. I'm looking for a professional who can handle a project of moderate size, expected to include 16 sketch illustrations and 4 cartoon strips.

For the illustrations I will provide a description to help bring the story to life, please see example below: In the midst of a raging storm, with dark clouds swirling overhead and rain pelting down in torrents, a young boy finds himself caught in the tempest, his small frame buffeted by the fierce winds a dove, its pristine white feathers stark against the backdrop of the roiling sky its wings outstretched like a protective shield over the child. The dove's sheltering embrace, providing the boy refuge from the fury of the storm.

Hi there, contest holder, as you can see, despite the apparent promise of exuberance in the aesthetics of AI images, these "artists" only know how to mindlessly prompt and make soulless pictures. If you don't state CLEARLY that you're not allowing AI generated illustrations, and reject them all, you will be drowned, like this, in easy shortcuts that leads to no criteria and poor taste.

Ask for some hand-drawn sketches, so you can find the real illustrators

Is this an AI art contest? Maybe the CH should qualify at the start that AI art is acceptable. Then he/she will be flooded with nothing but AI-generated images.
